Lecture by Dr. Daniel Tilles

with Prof. Paul Vincent

and

Dr. Jolanta Ambrosewicz-Jacobs

The lecture and discussion took place at the Galicia Jewish Museum on Wednesday, April 22nd 2015 and attracted an international audience of students, participants of the conference "The Holocaust and the Contemporary World", as well as academics, professionals and diplomatic persona.

The topic of the lecture touched upon the little-known fascist movement in the UK in the inter-war period and how antisemitism evolved within its structures. The lecture was based on Dr. Tilles' new book "British Fascist Antisemitism and Jewish Responses, 1932-40". The discussion that followed underscored the importance of monitoring such movements, understanding their roots and mechanisms, as well as their contemporary significance in a larger European and global context.
